Printing Your Logo

About Printing Your Logo

Most clients engage high quality professional printing services for stationery such as business cards, letterhead, and envelopes. We certainly recommend professional printing for the best results. Sometimes though, you may want to economize by “do-it-yourself printing.” For example, if you just need the occasional letterhead or envelope, you can print our logos on standard office printers and copiers.

If you decide to “do-it-yourself,” there are some things you should consider.

When you purchase an original, custom-created logo, you will receive high-resolution artwork to guarantee a print of finest quality. Our logos are created with a maximum dimension of 12.” Print files are typically very large, because they are 300 dpi (dots per inch) to create fine resolution so that the print comes out crisply!. Most stationery (letterhead and envelopes) will fit on a USB key. File sizes typically range from about 10M to 50M. Please be aware that print files are too large to email. Email software often prohibits attachments larger than 10M, though some can be set to 25M or higher. FTP (file transfer protocol) is generally used to upload print files to the printer’s web site.
